Review:
Nine Inch Nail's second album, "Broken", gets it all right. Damn is this a fine cd,
the incorporation of hard guitars into the music was a great evolution, and provided a lot more
abrasive and broken (sorry, had to say it) feel to the disc. TVT was repulsed by it, and Trent
had a falling out with them. Can you guess what "Happiness in Slavery" was about?
Music: Decisively the best of "early" NIN, still experimenting with music styles,
Reznor hits home to his fans with a great mix of tracks.
Cover Design: The digipack design for this disc, superb. The art, even though not
minimalist, is extremely well done and fits the theme of the cd. Great job.
Collectability: Only 8 songs, but damn are they good. You have to buy this.
Rarity: Still relatively ease to get access to, but don't push your luck, you never
know.
