Review:
Nine Inch Nail's first full-length album, "Pretty Hate Machine", was frowned upon
by TVT execs, rejected by MTV, and Reznor's first attempt at an album. And what an album it was,
thousands of teens and adults alike turned to Nine Inch Nails, "I can relate to the lyrics, it's
eerie." After a year, it had already sold more than a million copies, going gold, and has been
welcoming buyers for years. A definite classic, grade A music.
Music: 10 songs of depression, rejection, redemption, and self-discoverance. Containing
such classic NIN songs, "Something I can Never Have," and "Sin". A great first attempt at an
album, sounds better than most older bands could produce.
Cover Design: Colorful and a little clashing, but it's still good.
Collectability: The American version is out of print, but you could also get the
Canadian version. If you don't have this album, I tell you, you shouldn't be at this site.
Rarity: Not so rare, the Canadian import will be in print for a while under the Nothing
lable, so don't worry about missing it...but you just need a fresher cd with less scratches...right?
